The boat is a spacious 24 feet and offers ample, comfortable seating for your party, large bluetooth sound system- so you can listen to your favorite playlist, phone charger, large 168 quart icechest for food and drinks, swim ladder, water toys and a retractable covered Bimini top on the back half of the boat. All the ingredients for a fun day on the water!

Of course, onboard we have all safety features as well as both youth and adult life vests, adults are not required to wear life jackets, but are available on onboard.

A large bag to pack the following personal items, Hats, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Towels, Swimwear, inflatables, Cameras, food and drink. Please bring boat friendly food. And yes, alcohol is allowed. We also have a trash can aboard for proper disposal of any waste.

We book the trip you want! The boat operates on the Tchefuncte River in St. Tammany Parish, a short 30 min drive from New Orleans. At the beginning of the trip your captain will ask the party where they will be traveling today. On your trip you will typically be traveling North on the main river learning/ observing historical points of interest as well the wildlife that calls this area home. As the boat nears the head waters your party will learn the complex river systems that converge to create the Tchefuncte River Basin comprised of the Abita, Bogue Falaya and Little Tchefuncte Rivers.

Yes! We have several popular restaurants and bars that are accessible by boat and many passengers opt to call in a To- Go order to enjoy on the boat while relaxing at a cool water swimming hole “Brady Island” or shallow sandbar at the mouth of the River. Many parties especially enjoy watching a spectacular sunset on Lake Ponchatrain on our afternoon trips.

Boat Trips are great for all ages! Make sure that you are in good physical condition for boating activities, and are comfortable being outside for the weather you book your trip in. Kids love boating trips, but must remain seated while the boat is traveling and have good conduct for the duration of the trip.

All Cancellations must be made 5 full days before the date of the trip. If party fails to show for the date of the trip, 50% of the total trip price will be refunded. If weather conditions are forecast to be dangerous on the date of your trip, ie tropical storm, lighting ect, the Captain will be in contact with your party to either reschedule or refund the trip. Trips will be monitored with NOAA radar and will not be run if captain decides weather conditions would put any party in harms way. Providing parties with a safe and enjoyable day is our top priority. Summer Showers, within reason and cloudy days would not qualify as reasons to cancel trip, we have a great record of providing safe and enjoyable trips for many parties under the weather conditions we are dealt.
